CASAC is one of 14 Regional Action Councils (RACs) in the State of Connecticut. Together, the RACs form the Connecticut Prevention Network, that works to provide your community with education, training, and advocacy for substance abuse prevention.

Because our organizations are led by local educators, parents, business people, social service providers, law enforcement officials, clergy, government leaders, and youth, RACs are responsive, focused, and tailors to meet your community's specific needs.
All RAC Directors are required to be certified by the State as Prevention Professionals. This means you get the high quality prevention programs available in the state.
