Drug Take-Back - This spring, the Drug Enforcement Administration and its national and community partners will give the public another opportunity to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs.
Salvia Suicide - The father of a film student who apparently jumped from a Roosevelt Island balcony after smoking salvia said Tuesday that the hallucinogenic plant should be banned. "I would like to have it illegalized because of the effect it causes and the loss of life," said Lauro Santano, whose son leapt to his death Sunday. "I'll do everything in my power to get this thing out of the market.
