Teen Counseling

10-Week Outpatient Counseling Program at UCONN for Teens

Are you concerned about the alcohol use of a teenager that you care for? Consider UCONN's free counseling program and research study.

A teenager may qualify to participate in this research study if he or she:

Is between the ages of 13 and 18
Is willing to come to the clinic once a week
Is willing to allow us to collectic genetic/DNA information from a saliva sample and record his/her brain waves/EEG (harmlessly) for examining their contribution to treatment outcome. Alcohol and drug tests will be performed.

Free transportation will be provided, if needed, to those who qualify and teens will be compensated for their participation in this study.
